bit of a cough

I have a bit of a cough, it is winter and as of yet I haven't yet had a bad cold. I have had a few sniffles and a slightly poorly weekend but that all, this is all good :)
Have been christmas shopping got some presents, not all of them but getting there
Work is busy busy, should slow down a bit over santa season, i hope!
Laine is busy doing essays, she did an exam the other day 100 flipping % ha ha
I have just registered to do the first module of the social care degree with the open university, i am quite looking forward to it :)
Leah Plip has a birthday soon, she's 10 years old wow!!!!!!!!
The cats have all been in the house lately, i think it may be too cold to go out, they all have a chair or a stool or a bean bag to sit on, sometimes they argue and fight but then it settles.
The rabbits are running around all over the place, they have learnt how to get onto their cage and at their food they are somewhat rascalish at the moment but lovely at the same time.
Looking forward to santa time, nice long break, yay

today is tuesday it is

Back to work for a couple of days all good, training today and there was cooked dinner with pudding, I was allowed to have banana with me custard :)
Got Megs birthday party this weekend, 5 years old bless her!
He he - got to go present buying, i like buying presents for little'ns

American election today and tonight, I wonder what it'll do for us all?

Laine went through our pets tonight and diagnoses Archie, Bessie, Charlie and Moses with personality disorders, group therapy here we come!

it's the weekend

It's been another busy week, the new job is gonna keep me occupied I think :)
It's been good this week, really feel into it all now, not so much new that I don't know what I'm doing.
We have a peaceful weekend planned, Laine has 2 more weeks to placement so she's making sure her resources are well and truely topped up.
I took the cats to the vets last weekend, Moses is scabby and Charlie needs "not to put any more weight on" :)
Me, Laine and Leah all went on a bike ride to Lorraine and Petes house and they weren't in so we moved some gnomes around and went home to play on the trampoline, all good fun :)

derby

me and laine went off to derby yesterday shopping for laines postponded birthday. Was a fab day with a nice dinner, coffee and cookies :)

We spent a lot of time on the M1 in congestion on the way up and an accident on the way home
i took moses and charlie to the vets, they behaved brilliantly, moses a scaredy (editted by me) cat, charlie a little hissy but polite to the vet.
i'm off to melton today for a fancy dress party

Moses put up I fight but then gave up
Peanut, when he realised what was happening riggles a bit
Charlie took out lump of my arm and made me bleed

I have got to flea drop and worm the 3 cats

1) find them
2) catch them
3) cry with pain as they scratch me
4) swear
5) sit on them (gently)
6) Flea stuff on back of neck
7) find worming tablet
8) open cats mouth
9) drop tablet cos of cat riggling
10) find tablet
11) try and open cats mouth an throw tablet down throat
12) get tablet off of floor and repeat
13) hold cats mouth closed until they swallow
14) do this 2 more times with different cats

Sat morning
Shopping with Ian and then breaking cabinets in his garage :)
Bought a gazebo in the afternoon while laine was at charity shops
Slobbed in the afternoon
Nipped to shops late on to get laine sweets for kids at GT's

Dropped Laine off at church,
Coffee at Ellie's, then Ellie Sarah and Megs came to meet Bess and eat toast :)
Back to pick Laine and her mum up
Back home, hoovered and dusted car
Slobbed

During both days there was a little time for talking to the rabbits and playing with the ctas :)

bab's birthday tonight so buffet tea round Ian and Nets we really nice evening, laine was on funny form, she makes me laugh lots. Trivial pursuit and charades were not bad either

I wormed and de-fleaed 3 cats today, below is the room after I have caught moses and how it normally looks

and I destroyed the piano as much as posible, still can't carry it, as mentioned in the last post it attacked me :)

I'm hoping it will give the poor holly plant a chance to grow, Net helped me sweep up :)

Tidyed me garage, the plan was to sweep it but I decided to re-arrange, made me sooooo hungry am currently eating enough pasta for two adults.

Finally downloaded a picture of me trying to relax in my loft, this is what happens sometimes when I try and lay down. good job I'm lanky

darkness

Peanut kindly bought a mouse in yesterday, we knew by the squeaking and the tail hanging out of peanuts mouth. Cat ran out and I don't know what came of said mouse but I am a little worried that while gardening at some point I'm gonna find half a mouse :) lovely

today it is raining

and it is raining hard, I got wet 8 times, once to the car, once into asda, once out of asda, once into Ellie's, once out of Ellie's, back into asda, back out of asda and back into the house

all the cats are in, no way rabbit is going out tonight and I am really sleepy, glad ti Friday tomorrow and I should have a quiet weekend a head of me :)

today

there was a strange cat in our garden causing trouble, the boys Moses and Peanut run inside and hide. Charlie, short for charlotte stands her ground and sees of the intruder!

what a little old day

how busy little bee have i been?

went and looked at a house with Net Ian and Leah last night, not the one for them, would be fab opportunity for someone.

Today up early and off to solihull to take peanut to the posh specialist vets, then zoomed back to coventry did a bitof work, ran a training sessions then, popped back to Solihull and got peanut, i soooooo tired now :)

Anyway we no furthur on with the Peanut saga, in fact we are moving back towards soft tissue, but more results needed first. Roll on bank holiday and somerset i say!!!!!

i attacked the hall

we used to have wood cladding - not nice - in the hall, in a moment of madness i ripped it all down and have started taking the plaster back to the brick, what a mess. the hall and landing is the last big bit of diy i gotta do for a while :) (spot peanut!)

doors

I have had to put 2 doors onto our lounge as Peanut has to be kept in one room cos of his poorly leg. Cos we love him soooo much we want him to be able to sit with us but the lounge did not have doors. So I went to B and Q spent £60 on stuff and fitted 2 door, it took 4 hours in total and to be honest it isn't a diy job i like.


Anyway here is a pic:

holiday was fab

it was a short holiday, 2 nights, but it was a really nice break.

cycling, forest, animals, river, nice food, good company, fantatic accomodation!!!!!!

only thing is we've come back an peanuts foot ain't fixed!
