I'm off on hols tomorrow

We are going to greenbelt this weekend, very excited really :)
Off in caravan as soon as I delivered the rabbits to the rabbit holiday lady.

well laine has started her new placement, she has done 4 shift over the last week, all beginning at 7am in Warwick. This has meant that we have both seen too many 5.30ams over the last 7 day. I do feel in a slightly better position as i can go back to bed after and i don't have to do it for 7 week. It was a case off all alarm clocks in the house going off this week to make sure she was up

then theres bessie, i must ring in a minute. She has been with Jane at the rabbit rescue for what seems like weeks. We may have a potenital new friend, Colin, he's a bit older than our Bess but is the only bunny there that she hasn't hated :) We'll see

Yesterday Ian and I tootled over to Melton to help me mum and Baz clean out my grandads garage. He had a lot of years to collect stuff and my he had done well. Baz isn't for throwing stuff out and I think he must have saved 15 hammers "just in case"

Today I'm pottering, in me garden, sorting caravan and maybe going to see Bess

oh and Dr Who was fantastic!!!

holiday

we are in oxfordshire at little bo peep again. Its lovely here, i flew my kite this afternoon which always cheers me :) I really like days when I don't have to drive anywhere it makes it feel more relaxing I think. We have shopped a little - new shoes - biked a lot, chilled a lot and sat and done nothing much a lot. All in all a good hols.

We may nip and see if Bess has picked her new hubby bunny on the way home but will have to see if she's free first :)

really it did I so nearly got stuck, the roof came off the runners and when I was trying to fix it the roof collapsed with me under it. I had to slither out, all very exciting! :) Pete had to come rescue me, thanks pete all fixed now
I is plastering tomorrow with ian, ooooooooo exciting also!

Laine is out tonight with her friend Kay so I have the house to myself it's quite nice, I did go shopping, I'm getting old cos I was so chuffed Daz was on offer and there were 18 loo rolls for £5. Wondering if I should get a zimmer frame now.

Have watched Tenko this evening, NTL died yesterday half way through, i like Tenko now awatching diy sos

holiday

we went (laine and I) on holiday down to bo peep, adderbury, oxfordshire
was lovely fantastic and wonderful, really nice place, peaceful, the people were really friendly

and................

There was a field, not just any field but one on the brow of a small hill htat caught the wind perfectly, thus from this day forward I shall call it the kite flying field :)


went went to oxford one day, i wasn't really impressed was too busy
we went to chipping norton the next day lots nicer :)

As soon as Laine knows her days at uni we are booking again

I cut my finger while slicing some mushrooms and it made me go "ouch" out loud :)

Busy old day at work, it's never dull now a days. 3 weeks and we off to oxfordshire in caravan, looking forward to it

I had pork and veg and pasta with gravy, was lovely :)
Before that I went and flied my kite in the park near us which was lovely :) and I got some conkers and posted one to Leah, was gonna ask Leah to come fly a kite but she was out, she has a busy social life. Got a tie down for awning for holiday just incase it is windy again!

Looking forward to the weekend, going to see Dylan, Leah's horse we sponsored at christmas.

It has been a rainy day again and I have had hayfever, it seems unfair, I don't mind hayfever that much when it's sunny sunny shine!

I been playing with numbers at work lately, I rally rather enjoy it, just booked the next caravan holiday in oxfordshire, should be nice

ooo and Ian is gonna help me plasterboard the ceilings in the hall, thats all good. He did the wall when we were on holiday how cool was that!

well it is wednesday, the days have been moving quickly the last few weeks :)
My twisted willow is looking unwell, it ain't water logged so Baz thinks it might be that the nutrients have all been washed out by the consistant downpours, thus and therefore I have given it some food, I hope it works :)

would like to go away in the caravan even for a night but with the weather as it is I don't much feel like it really

net and Leah have been staying 2 nights a week for a while now and have fitted in nicely, we seem to now have a mop bucket and mop and neither I nor laine bought it :)

home now

we home now, bad weather stopped play so we packed up a little earlier than planned and headed back north (midlands) with the plan of going to pizza hut and we did just that. All good and my fav photo is/are: sun set, beach, cave

oh and I kissed a donkey on the nose :)

wednesday 30th May

well we are off home today and it is a bit rainy, slept brilliantly last night which proves to me that i need to sort out my squeeky bed at home.

This has been a lovely spot in the UK to visit, I have very much enjoyed it and will hopefully have lots of photos to show for it when I get home later.

Then we got another 4 days off before we go back to work, I'm trying not to think about it cos I got busy run of days when I get back :)

my hols

we are in somerset, the wifi on the camp site is working which is fantastic and has been a bit of a life saver really :)

Travelling down was fine, the roads were quite good, rain the only thing that was a little annoying. Then got to camp site fine, people here really nice. had to set up in the rain, first time we've done it, got vey wet but was sucessful enough :)
Then the Pooles came, we put the annex up, which looked feable to being with and by the end of Sunday had ripped and was shoved in a bin bag.
Anyway we got all set up and went off, nipped to Tesco and then off to find a swimming pool, one was fully and had queues and we didn't find the other one. So that didn't go well. When we got back to camp site wind had started to get a bit rough, we had chinese and by the end of that the wind was scary!
Them lot played games and by bed time I think so of the adults were thinking this wind ain't funny anymore.
Anyways we survived the night although I saw every hour on my watch a part from 1 and 6 :) Don't think I've had such an awful night for a long long time.
Mon was lovely though, weather not great but good enough. We had sausage sandwich, went down to beach, fantastic beach, cheese sandwich for dinner, I went back to beach on be bod and rode my bike in the sea (photos will follow when I get home) Went out for tea then I went back to beach again to watch sun set, was so so nice!!!

So far today we been to Wookey Hole caves and all been to the beach, then pasta for tea.

we are going on holiday - oh yes we are

first things first i have made of my breakfast a gammon steak, tomato and tomtato sauce grilled sandwich, it is lovely!!!!!!!!

we are going on our hols tomorrow with the Pooles (Net, Ian, Leah) we are going down to Somerset Brean Sands, the weather forecast isn't looking too fantastic but I am in high spirits, there is a beach, animals, water, walks a swimming pool and our lovely caravan so what more could we want!!
I have got me things ready and I will admit I have packed 2 jumpers just incase :)
I tried our new "blows it's self up and deflates it self" airbed, it really did what it said on the box and all in 80 secs, how much easier can life get?!!

We went out of Enisa's birthday yesterday, her b'day is the sames as Laines 23rd but she was at college, she seems happier than she's been for a while which was nice to see!

Me mum and Baz came down as well, was nice to have them their, Baz and Pete got talking houses and extentions, me mum fell in love with the Burnette's stairs :)
Me grandad been poorly though, had to have paramedics out cos he couldn't breathe, still at home though, think he's determinded not to go into hospital.

Oh and me car is in for it's MOT, asked the very nice chaps at Stones Garage if they could hit my windowscreen wiper with a hammer cos it makes a click noise when I go fast in the rain.

holiday was fab

it was a short holiday, 2 nights, but it was a really nice break.

cycling, forest, animals, river, nice food, good company, fantatic accomodation!!!!!!

only thing is we've come back an peanuts foot ain't fixed!

it is, there is no doubting it and it won't be tomorrow.

Peanuts got a bad leg, he's okay thou as after lots of x rays they think it's not broken

The caravan is out ready for Friday and Sherwood forest :)

Work is busy busy busy but thats all good cos I love the job

The wireless network is being a pain in the bottom but the challenge is always good :)
